It's never been quite clear the progression. So I have a number of questions: should JRiver show up under the Media Server tab in Kazoo? Should my current Dac show up under Media Server tab in Kazoo, just as my old Dac did (and still does which is odd!). But why would that be when the tab ostensibly lists media software?īy the way, at no point in my use of Kazoo have I seen JRiver as a choice (and maybe it shouldn't show up, not certain). However, for that to happen in Kazoo under Media Settings I needed to highlight the WorkPC / name of my old Dac choice and my system would play.

One last point - JPlay did work with the old DAC. This seems odd as my Media Server software is JRiver, but it doesn't show up as a choice. When I open up Settings in Kazoo and go to Media Server I see three choices - WDM圜loud (I assume this is my NAS device), WorkPC (name of my computer on my network) and along with it the name of my OLD Dac, and the third choice is WorkPC Generic DLNA. My song collection resides in two places: I have a Western Digital NAS device (connected by Wi-Fi on a home network) and also a Western Digital portable hard disk that can be connected to the PC. I have a single Windows 10 PC with JRiver and Linn Kazoo software installed, along with JPlay of course. This is an old topic but since I've just installed a new Dac I need to revisit this since the new Dac not playing/working with JPlay. In Kazoo properies MinimServer is connected and working as mediaserver but network searchnig icon is moving all time and I can do nothing, even change tabs. Next day probably after reboot I can't use Kazoo anymore, he is scaning my network ,searching but can't find a jplaystreamer 'room' I was supriced that's all goes well and I was able to control my Minimserver/Jplay 6 via Kazoo Then, step by step based manual installed java, MinimServer and Linn Kazoo from Appstore on iPAD AIR 2 as control device. Jplay 6 is working with Foobar like a charm in all my favorite settings ( Ultrastream ,DAC link 170hz, 001s)
